D & J Lawncare is Hiring a Landscaper Near Manchester, CT

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping tasks and the ability to work efficiently in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to ensure their health and appearance
- Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of walkways, patios, and retaining walls
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
- Remove snow from walkways and driveways during winter months
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and disposing of waste properly

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscape equipment
- Proficiency in various landscaping techniques including garden design and maintenance
- Experience with mowing, trimming, edging, irrigating, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of snow plowing techniques during winter months
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and digging
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure the quality of workmanship
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
